Fertility Health

Most married couples – and not only – would like to have children at some point, because what can bring two people together more than raising a child? However, there are those who have trouble conceiving, no matter what they do and try. Scheduling sex in order to get the best out of the woman’s ovulation period can be tiring and take all the fun and spontaneity from this activity and bring damages to the relationship. For those who are thinking of making some babies, we have some health advice that will improve their fertility and life altogether. Having a healthy body means everything will function at optimal capacities and thus, your ability to impregnate or get pregnant is increased.

There is, of course, the option of in vitro fertilization, but that is for extreme cases only, where no other avenues are viable, or when one of the partners has serious fertility issues. Also the cost of in vitro fertilization procedures are very high and most couples can’t afford them. For normal cases where a couple is trying to conceive, all they have to do is take care of themselves and lead a healthy and rested life. Remember that stress too can decrease your fertility, especially for men, and especially when sex encounters with the partner are scheduled. A good advice is to try to do something spontaneous even though you know exactly when you are going to have sex. Try a new position, new places, and experiment with yourselves and each other.

As for the health of your bodies, you must be careful to eat healthy foods and exercise regularly. If you’re planning on having a child you are probably aware of the responsibilities that come with that. As a parent, you will have to be on your best behavior and health so that no other issues distract you from taking care of your child. One of the most common causes of infertility is poor health, so you will want to make sure you have a balanced diet containing lots of vegetables, fruits, foods that contain proteins and dairy products as well.

To avoid the cost of in vitro fertilization, first try leading a more healthy lifestyle. Having a fit and healthy body is not about eating well, but about exercising regularly as well. Both women and men should try to exercise at least three times a week, not only when they’re trying to conceive, but especially then. Regular visits at the doctor won’t hurt either, as well as some tests to see where you are with your health. Yet when all other avenues have been tried with no result, in vitro fertilization is just as good an option, because the result is what’s most important.
